Football and Cheerleading Registration

Join the competitive and fun world of TYRO football and cheerleading!! Equipment/Uniforms provided! No Try-Outs! All Kids Play! Within the TYRO League, CLLAA plays their games primarily on Sundays. Our home field is at Cheektowaga Town Park on Harlem Road.  Practices will start in July at Community Road Facility behind Aspire Bldng on Maryvale Drive (behind market formerly known as B-Kwik) and the season will run from August through October. Playoff games will follow the regular season which may extend our season through the beginning of November.

We would like all parents to consider becoming an active participant in this organization to help it thrive. Sign up sheets will be available at the open registration dates for those of you who would like to offer your time to help with the concession stand, coaching , fundraising, etc. Please take some time to talk to a Board Member to see how you can help!

Register early to ensure a spot on the team/squad. Limited spaces are available. Register at the Cheektowaga Town Park concession stand located between the Recreation Center and football and soccer fields.

2010 Registration Dates
Saturday, May 15 Town Park Concession Stand 1pm - 4pm (VETERANS ONLY)
Saturday, June 5 Town Pakr Concession Stand 1pm - 4pm
Friday, June 18 DICK's Sporting Goods Upper Level(Galleria Mall) 6pm - 8pm
Saturday, June 19 Town Park Concession Stand 1pm – 4pm
Saturday, July 10 Town Park Concession Stand 1pm - 4pm

First day practice TBA

Fees

$55 for first child / $35 for each additional child (up to 5)
*(Plus $10 volunteer fee – to be reimbursed upon 1 hour of volunteer work)

Age Restrictions

6-12 years (must turn 6 on or before Aug.1st to cheer / cannot turn 13 after Aug. 1st)

Maximum weight per teams for football

Pee Wee - 90# Freshman - 110# JV - 130#

All participants must bring the following information with them to registration: Parent, Copy of Birth Certificate, Doctor's medical release & Proof of Cheektowaga residency.

ALL CHEEKTOWAGA, DEPEW, LANCASTER & SLOAN RESIDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY!

All participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian the first day. Participants should also dress according to the weather (EX: shorts,sneakers).
